Hopkins-based Strom Engineering Corporation has endowed Holy Family Catholic High School with a $100,000 donation to help build science, technology, engineering, arts and math programs (STEAM). For Strom CEO John Radick, the donation was personal. Radick has been a board member of Holy Family for 15 years and has sent all four of his kids to the school. He values the faith-first education model, and he believes it makes students’ learning experience “a lot more impactful,” he says. As the CEO of an engineering firm, Radick is also a strong advocate for STEAM education. In a press release, he says, “We are excited to see how this endowment builds the school’s technology program to prepare students for success.”
