Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka chamber awards an outstanding community member this month.
Every year, the Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce awards one member of the chamber community who goes above and beyond the typical duties of their work.
Chamber executive director Laura Hotvet explains that, after nominations for the Person of the Year have been submitted, a committee comprised of the five previous award recipients discusses what the honor means to them, and chooses the nominee they believe is most deserving of the award.
The chamber will announce the 2018 Person of the Year this month at Pique Travel.
