Annual food and beer fest heats up in Tonka Bay.
Nothing says summer quite like juicy barbecue with a side of ice-cold beer on the shores of our beloved Lake Minnetonka. Come out to Manitou Park in Tonka Bay on August 12 from noon to 8 p.m. for the annual Lake Minnetonka BBQ & Beer Fest. Of course, the food and drink aren’t the only things to look forward to. Dan Rodriguez and the Jason Paulson Band will be performing throughout the day, and you can also catch a rib-eating competition. Watch the barbecue masters and taste their fare—or grab a bite from one of the other food vendors, if barbecue isn’t quite your thing.
