The annual Saint Paul Public Schools School Choice Fair is set for January 9 at Washington Technology Magnet School. The free fair offers parents the opportunity to speak with principals and teachers from SPPS schools to see where their child might find the best fit. This year’s event will focus on early childhood, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten programs. Representatives from the
transportation department, Student Placement Center and other community partners will also be there to answer questions. According to SPPS communications director Toya Stewart Downey, the fair can be a good resource, in addition to making visits to schools of interest, for parents looking for the best educational option for their child.
