With gift-giving season around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about options. PoppedCorn, which opened about a year ago in Minnetonka, is selling a traditional snack in untraditional ways.
“We have more than 60 flavors of popcorn,” says owner Susan Michaletz. The most popular are Windy City mix (cheese and caramel) and dill pickle. Michaletz says if you like dill pickle chips, the flavor “is even better on popcorn.” Other flavors include Southwest hot wings, cinnamon toast, birthday cake and dark chocolate sea-salt caramel.
Michaletz says they also sell candy-coated popcorn with flavors like vanilla, cotton candy, blueberry, blackberry and banana cream. They also sell nut mixes, saltwater taffy and fudge.
With all of these options, it won’t be hard to find something for everyone. PoppedCorn sells their popcorn by the bag, tin (1 gallon to 6.5 gallons) or gift box, making it easy to give to others. Holiday gift boxes will be available beginning this month.
