There aren’t many places where you can have craft beer, excellent wine, delicious coffee and fantastic music all in one day. But at 318 Café in Excelsior, customers know to expect all of that—and a plate of delicious food, too.
Co-owned by cousins Tom Peterson and Matty O’Reilly, the Café has long been a haven for musicians. O’Reilly and Peterson actually discovered it during their careers as musicians. Now that they’re fathers, their focus has turned away from a professional role in music—though Peterson has been known to duet with his 8-year-old daughter at the café.
Matt Muller, who serves as the booking agent, chooses the musical events for the Café. Though he continues to support favorites, he’s always on the lookout for new bands, so be sure to stop by this July and get a little local music education.
