Dating apps today can be a sketchy place—and occasionally, a slew of potential daters lying about their identities, marital statuses and more. The new Lodge Social Club app is hoping to eliminate many of the negative aspects associated with traditional dating apps.
Founder, CEO and Lake Minnetonka native Kailen Rosenberg teamed up with other relationship experts to develop the app, which includes checks on all members in areas including psychology, spirituality, criminal background checks and identity checks.
“Minnesota has a lot to be proud of, since we are changing dating,” Rosenberg says.
There are three levels in the app: bronze, gold and VIP. Members of the gold and VIP levels receive exclusive invitations to pop-up events and boot camps that take place at The Lodge Social Club building on Lake Calhoun.
The app also offers the Real Reveal test, which tells you what kind of person you are when it comes to relationships and uses an algorithm to pair you up with your perfect match.
“If you’re happier in love and in your relationship, you have more gentleness and love for yourself and you are kinder to one another,” Rosenberg says.

Bronze level: $35 monthly
Gold level: $100 annually + $60 monthly
VIP Platinum: $10,000 annually
VIP Black: $50,000 annually
