This summer, Anything Goes will take the stage as the Minnetonka Theatre performs this age-old Broadway favorite. Since the show takes place on a ship, artistic director Kent Knutson thought the musical was a natural fit for Lake Minnetonka thespians.
“I think our audience will enjoy a rollicking good time with spectacular dancing and laughs galore,” Knutson says. “Cole Porter’s music is delightful, and the show will feature some of the best singers and actors in the Midwest.” Among these featured performers are Ivy Award winner Jody Briske playing nightclub singer Reno, and Todd Petersen as British nobleman Sir Evelyn Oakleigh. —Caitlin Mitchell
