Early February means free ice-skating fun and a fishing tournament for the kiddos.
Take the simple pleasure of ice skating, add hot chocolate at the concession stand, set the scene to music and you’ve got Skate Late, a Minnetonka community event February 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. It’s free and takes place at City Hall Park in Deephaven.
On February 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., return to the bay and register for the Lake Minnetonka Youth and Family Ice Fishing Tournament. Registration is available online and costs $15 per child.
