Susan Zdon, owner of CorAzoN, is bringing a little heart to the Twin Cities. She opened a second location on Selby Avenue this past year, giving customers a place to shop in both Saint Paul and Minneapolis.
“I try to locate my businesses where there’s a need,” Zdon says. “Selby kind of needed a little shop and it felt like a good fit.”
Having grown up in Saint Paul, Zdon also wanted to reconnect with her roots. “Exploring where I grew up was sort of finding an extension of myself,” she says.
CorAzoN sells a variety of gift items including cards, dishware and handcrafted jewelry. They also sell clothes and Minnesota-centric items.
“I wanted to give emerging artists and crafters a venue to showcase their work,” Zdon says.
This fall, Zdon says the store will feature a line of Renaissance-style home goods. Customers can expect to find heavy metal candlesticks, enamel servingware and lots of burgundy and gold tones. CorAzoN will also host an event on accessorizing your table for the holidays. Check the website for more information.
