The regional chapter of the ALS Association gathers in Minnetonka.

In early November, the ALS Association, Minnesota/North Dakota/South Dakota, celebrated its 11th annual Light the Journey fundraiser. This formal event at the Minneapolis Marriott Southwest in Minnetonka helps support programs and services provided for people with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) and their families, and funds research.
