‘I Know How to’ books curb first-day immersion school jitters.
For some kids, starting their first day of immersion school can be intimidating, but Susanne Aspley has remedied that problem with her I Know How to book series. The first in the collection, titled I Know How to Hola, explains what students can expect on their first day and includes a Spanish glossary. Aspley, an Excelsior resident, also has written French and Chinese versions (I Know How to Ni Hao released in December; I Know How to Bon Jour is due out next month), and has tentative plans for a German edition.
