From knit baby booties to sophisticated, felted wool handbags, it’s easy to find something for people of all ages at the Landing Shop.
The name might sound familiar to folks who used to visit the original shop, then called Mills Landing Gift Shoppe, and the mission remains the same: It’s sponsored by the city of Minnetonka senior programs, and a portion of the proceeds goes back to the store.
Peggy Priem, coordinator on the Landing Shop board of directors, notes that those who live in Minnetonka and are over age 55 can sell their wares there. And while everything is handmade, says volunteer Helen Friedlieb, “the prices are so good.”
The Landing Shop is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 11280 Wayzata Blvd., Minnetonka; 763.591.4868; eminnetonka.com
