The Irish Fair Returns to Harriet Island

The Irish Fair celebrates Saint Paul’s rich heritage.

Known as one of the top Celtic festivals in America, the annual Irish Fair of Minnesota at Harriet Island offers a three-day celebration of Saint Paul’s rich Irish heritage, regardless of how Irish you may be. “There’s no DNA test at the door,” Colleen Healy, executive director of the Irish Fair says jokingly. “Everyone is welcome to join, learn and celebrate, as we have plenty of great attractions for all ages.”

Returning for the 2015 fair will be the sheep herding demonstrations—a crowd favorite—and the native Irish dogs exhibit. New this year is the Color Me Irish 5K, a fun run that douses contestants in the powdered colors of the Irish flag.
