Partners Group annual charity fishing tournament gives back.
Fishing is nothing new to residents around Lake Minnetonka, but now you can do it for a cause. The Partners Group of Wayzata is hosting its annual fishing tournament this month.
With 14 boats of two to three people each, the tournament will take place on Lake Minnetonka on August 10. A dinner hosted at Lord Fletcher’s is on August 9, which is when each fishing team shares the charity they’ve chosen to support this year, and their passion behind it.
The winning team gives all proceeds to the charity of their choice. Past recipients include Golf for the Gift, Humor to Fight the Tumor and Make-a-Wish.
