Fine Art Fishes: 'Walter's Gone Wild VII' by Michelle Plombon

Abstract painting of a school of fish.
Gone Fishing

There is nothing better than dropping a line on a beautiful day into a body of water that looks like glass. Touted as the Land of 10,000 Lakes, Minnesota now sits at 14,444 lakes, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. Our lakes are filled with trout, perch, sunnies, walleye, muskie and even salmon in Lake Superior. I love the way Michelle Plombon utilizes layers of colors that provide depth, interest, texture and movement throughout her piece. She has a series of over 20 compositions, which pay homage to anglers and this great Minnesota pastime.
