Looking for the perfect way to kick off St. Patrick’s Day? Jog over to the annual Luck O’ the Lake 5K, organized by the Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce. Enjoy a run with family and friends along the shores of Lake Minnetonka, and through downtown Excelsior and Greenwood. Participants can choose to run 1 mile or the full 5K. If running isn’t your speed—check out the tent party with live music, food and a stocked bar.
Profits will benefit the Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce. “We’re so excited to welcome Bridgewater Bank as our title sponsor,” says Jocelyn Youngstedt, marketing director for the chamber. The Luck O’ the Lake 5K is just the first in the Lake Minnetonka Running Series: This year, the July 4 Firecracker run and Park Nicollet Apple of the Lake 5K will follow.
