Don’t miss Excelsior’s annual arts festival.
Celebrating its 31st year, Art on the Lake is bigger and better than ever. At least 180 artists are expected to fill Excelsior Commons Park, each expressing their creativity in such mediums as ceramics, fibers, paintings, drawings, sculptures, jewelry, leather, metal, glass, photography and recycled materials. The kids can inspire their own inner artist in the hands-on art tent or become a piece of art with a free face painting. With more than 15 food vendors, a henna artist, and live music by Patchouli and Charlie Parr on Sunday, you can make a day out of this free event.
