Local jewelry manufacturer invents a twist-proof ring.
Having worked in the jewelry business for 30 years, Brian Walters knows symmetry and color like the back of his hand (or rather, finger). He also knows the frustration of having rings that twist and turn—so he invented and copyrighted a new design, the Ultra 8. As the name suggests, the inside of the ring has eight sides, which he found most effectively prevents twisting. Walters is even able to resize some current rings to this innovative shape.
With fall coming, Walters anticipates mix-and-match styles and designs with layers and colors popular. “It adds more fun to the gloomy weather,” he says.
