The annual Excelsior Apple Day celebration will take place this year on September 19. New this year is a 1-mile kids’ run, open to children of all ages. For adults looking to get a little exercise, there will be the Park Nicollet Apple of the Lake 5K to raise money for the Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce. Live entertainment, a Jake O’Connor’s beer and wine tent, and, of course, the popular pie-baking and -eating contests round out this year’s popular lake-area get together. Stop by for your dose of fun!
