The Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce proudly produces and hosts the only public 4th of July fireworks event on the shores of Lake Minnetonka, at the Commons Park in downtown Excelsior. Enjoy a 4th of July celebration that kicks off with a boom and ends with a BANG!

4th of July on Lake Minnetonka has been a tradition for more than 135 years! The day begins with the Annual Firecracker 1 Mile, 5K and 10K. There will also be a kids' parade on Water Street, a sand sculpture contest, fishing contest and a popsicle social. This year, the Wolverines Big Band will be entertaining the crowd well into the evening. Michael Wiskus and the Lucas Oil Air Show will thrill the crowd once again with its aviation acrobatics. Then, for a can't-miss finale, is the annual fireworks spectacular!
