Taking care of young children is a huge responsibility, and being prepared is paramount to the safety of the children, especially for older kids just beginning to babysit. This course teaches important safety measures; successful completion earns an American Red Cross Babysitter Training Certificate, making students eligible for the next course, Babysitter Training Plus, which includes infant/child CPR training. Students will receive a handbook, CD, activities and a first aid kit to start them off in their new babysitting endeavors. Bring a lunch, snack and beverage to class.
