Guests will meet Trillium Woods’ new Selections Coordinator for styling options and popular design trends, get their questions answered and learn the advantages of planning ahead. One of the largest and most popular plant sales in the Twin Cities, this event has everything you need to start your garden off right this spring. The sale features everything from sun and shade perennials to herbs, trees to rock garden plants. Decorations, tools and even koi fish are also available. Saturdays and Sundays in March, It’s alive! Has your little one ever wondered how plants grow? Visit the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum to learn the process from seed to sprout. February and March bring the tapping of trees to create the best accompaniment for pancakes: maple syrup. Join the maple tree tappers to learn about the path from tree to plate. From–scratch samples include peanut butter stars, snickerdoodles and chocolate Scotchies; you will also get recipes you can bake at home.
