Trillium Woods, a resort-style retirement community opening in summer 2015, is hosting a Designed by You event for prospective residents.

Guests will meet Trillium Woods’ new Selections Coordinator for styling options and popular design trends, get their questions answered and learn the advantages of planning ahead. Guests can also tour a beautiful, newly completed Selections Room, model apartment and community scale plan. Enjoy lunch while exploring the design options for personalizing your future residence. Arboretum Auxiliary Spring Plant Sale

One of the largest and most popular plant sales in the Twin Cities, this event has everything you need to start your garden off right this spring. The sale features everything from sun and shade perennials to herbs, trees to rock garden plants. Decorations, tools and even koi fish are also available. Knowledgeable gardeners will be available to answer questions and give you ideas while you shop. All proceeds support the arboretum. 952.443.1400. Birds and Blooms

Join naturalist Matt Schuth on a walk around the
Minnesota Landscape Arboretum as he helps you sleuth out the first flowers and
migrating birds of the season. Make sure to dress for the weather and bring
binoculars, because you won’t want to miss a thing. Walk will depart from

Sprouts Alive!

Saturdays and Sundays in March, It’s alive! Has your little one ever wondered how plants grow? Visit the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum to learn the process from seed to sprout. West Metro Home Remodeling Fair

Many turn to home remodeling as a way to brighten the new year, so get out the tool belts and start the gears spinning. Sponsored by Golden Valley, Minnetonka, Hopkins and St. Louis Park, the fair features how-to demonstrations, pro tips and hundreds of exhibits. Bake 'n' Take Holiday Cookies

Gather with neighbors and bake tasty treats for your holiday celebrations in a child-adult class. From–scratch samples include peanut butter stars, snickerdoodles and chocolate Scotchies; you will also get recipes you can bake at home.
