Editor's Pick: Boots Made for Walking

I seem to be perpetually searching for footwear that’s stylish, practical, comfortable and durable—is that really too much to ask? This winter, I might actually have found the elusive pair: the Inez boot, from Minnesota stalwart Red Wing Shoe Co. The Inez is western-inspired. It’s a fresh take on Red Wing’s historic Pecos boot, which was “originally made for oil field workers and ranchers in the American West back in the day,” says publicist Emily Park. The leather is gorgeous (available in hues of honey, black and copper), from S.B. Foot Tanning Company, and the short pull-on boot has beautiful stitching details and a comfy stacked heel. See you on the sidewalk, fellow boot lovers.

Available at redwingheritage.com ($369.99) and locally at Brightwater Clothing & Gear. Colors include honey chinook, black boundary and copper rough and tough.
