MHS was recently honored by two national publications as one of the best high schools in the state.
On the heels of being named the seventh best public high school in Minnesota by U.S. News and World Report, Minnetonka High School (MHS) was honored Monday as the second best in the state by Newsweek, second to nearby Edina High School. Nationally, the school ranked 190th out of 1,000.
The rankings were based on six elements:
- Graduation rate
- College matriculation rate
- Average SAT/ACT scores
- Average AP/IB/AICE scores
- AP courses offered per student
- AP/IB/AICE tests taken per student
