As the daughter of two people who first met in a library—Mom was the head librarian at the Conrad Public Library and Dad, the new guy in town, came in looking for book recommendations—I was destined to love libraries.
My favorite aspect of any library is that it provides
resources and services for all community members. In addition to its
widely known children's programming, the Hennepin County Library
system, the umbrella under which all six Lake Minnetonka-area branches fall, also meets the needs of its adult patrons.
If you are looking for business, tax or legal resources, are interested in listening to an author talk, or are looking for a DVD of your favorite TV show, then stop by your local library.
