Ice Out and Loons In
As the official “caller” of ice out on Lake Minnetonka since 1968, the Freshwater Society will herald the return of spring--and our state bird--Thursday, April 11, from 6-9 p.m., at the Lafayette Club in Minnetonka Beach.
This year's event will feature a live auction and a presentation about Freshwater Society’s water protection programs. Additionally, the first-ever Clean Water Champion Award will be presented in recognition of leadership in community clean-ups for water quality.
