Gary Ezell, owner and chef at Joey Nova’s, is a familiar and active member of the Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka community. His fellow citizens describe Ezell as a “true gem” and the “poster child for the chamber’s goodwill and prosperity.” Consequently, earlier this year, Ezell was selected as the Person of the Year by the Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce.
Ezell has volunteered with and donated food to countless events and organizations in the area, including Art on the Lake and Loaves and Fishes food shelves. One of the many nominations Ezell received highlighted his “radiant and positive attitude.” He sponsors local sports teams and promotes small businesses throughout the area, to name just a few of his contributions.
