The Aim Higher Foundation, based in Minnetonka, was founded in 2011, when community leaders noticed a need for tuition assistance at Catholic schools throughout the rural and urban Twin Cities area.

So far, the Aim Higher Foundation has raised more than $2 million, awarded in more than 3,400 scholarships to students throughout the Twin Cities who are in need of financial assistance at Catholic school. After fundraising for more than 700 scholarships this past year, the foundation’s goal for 2017 is to grant 1,000.

“Our main fundraiser is in September, but we also accept donations and sponsors throughout the year,” says board member Sarah Schumacher. “Especially around the holiday season, we like to get new scholars on board and reach out to more new families in the area.”

You can get involved by making donations, sponsoring students or volunteering at events throughout the year. For more info, visit the website here.
