The Lake Minnetonka Half Marathon allows runners to experience the scenic route from downtown Wayzata to Commons Park in Excelsior.
This year’s race is May 6, starting after sunrise at 7:30 a.m. Runners can choose between the half marathon or the two-person relay—one runner starts in Wayzata, and the second waits at the tag zone in Noerenberg Gardens to complete the remaining 6.55 miles.
Kids can check out the 0.4-mile Kids K Run at Excelsior’s Commons Park, starting at 10:15 a.m. What are you waiting for? Lace up those sneakers!
